Non banking financial company is a business entity whether incorporated under the companies Act 1956or not which devotes its resources in providing to the society the financial services of various descriptions which are different from and uncompared to normal banking services. Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) also know as a non-banks are financial institution that provide banking services without meeting the legal definition of the bank, i.e., one that does not hold banking license operations are regardless of this still exercised under the bank regulations. A Non-banking Financial Company (NBFC) is financial institutions that provide banking services, but do not hold a banking license. These institutions are not allowed to take deposits from the public. Nonetheless, all operations of these institutions are still covered under banking regulations. The Kerala State Financial Enterprises Ltd. Popularly known as KSFE is a Miscellaneous Non Banking Financial Company (MNBFC).It is fully owned by the government of Kerala. It started functioning on November 6, 1969 with Thrissur as its headquarters. It started with a capital of Rs 2, 00,000, 45 employees and 10 branches .It has 7 Regional Offices at Thiruvanthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Kannur. KSFE is one of
